Essential Distribution is an independent Record Company based in Johannesburg , South Africa . The company was started in 2000 by the present owner , Nathan Adams , to import and distribute Dance compilations to independent music stores .
Operations have since expanded into Producing ( Baby`s Essential, Essential Tranquility) , Licensing( Tunnel Records , Essential Soul & Essential Love) , Customized Compilations ( for retailers and corporates) Distribution ( St.Clair , Uncut DVD , Tidy Trax , DJ Networx.) and Overstocks. Our full catalogue contains over 1,000 titles accross all genres of music in both CD and DVD formats , plus third party distributed product.
Now servicing over 200 outlets , including Music , Baby and Book stores Essential is growing and we are constantly on the look out for staff , producers , dj`s , licenses and new distribution deals.
