This is a Help Manual to help people set up a dialup connection to the Internet in Windows2000.

1.Click Start.

2.Click Programs.

3.Click Accessories.

4.Click Communications.

5.Click on "Internet Connection Wizard"

 This will popup:

5.a Click on the last option, the "I want to set my Internet connection manually".

5.b Then click next.

6.Leave it on the "I connect through phone line and modem" option.

6.a Click next.

Now put in the number your ISP gave you to dial into.

7.Now you will need to type in the user name and password your ISP gave you.

7.b Click next.

 Now type in the name of the connection and click next.

8.Click on "No" for the next screen.

Then click next.

9.Unless you want to connect to the Internet immediately, uncheck the box asking if you want to connect to the Internet now, and then click finish.
